Showers are provided but we ask members only to use them as a washing off station, this will allow staff to focus on cleaning other more frequently used areas of the club during cleaning periods. Please use the gym facilities as efficiently as possible to allow the maximum amount of members to use the facilities.

B. At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors, at least thirty days preceding the Annual election, the President shall appoint a Nominating Committee of three to nominate members for election of the Board of Directors.
This Committee shall consist of three members of the Board of Directors whose terms of office do not expire at the immediate election.
At least fifteen days before the election the Nominating Committee shall post conspicuously in the CLUB building a copy of this section of the By-Laws, together with the names of the persons they nominate.

The name of the corporation shall be "Sheridan Swim Club, Inc.", hereinafter referred to as the "CLUB, " incorporated under the statutes of the State of Illinois relating to corporations "not for pecuniary profit."
The purpose for which this corporation is formed is to conduct a swim club to provide exercise, recreation and social enjoyment for its members, and for the promotion of swimming and other sports.
The CLUB shall not engage in any transaction for pecuniary gain to its members, and none of its net income shall inure in whole or in part to any individual; nor shall it enter into an indebtedness other than that which may be necessary to maintain the CLUB's affairs, such as providing for grounds, club house, pools and other facilities, and incidental expenses thereof for the purposes stated in these articles.

The following Rules and Regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members and their guests.
These rules have been established to insure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities.
Parents are requested to caution their children to observe and obey all rules and instructions of the club manager and Sheridan staff.
These rules will be strictly enforced with a warning being placed in the members file for the first offense and a suspension for any subsequent violation of the rules and regulations stated in this document or posted at Sheridan Swim Club.
