Founded in 2006 by Brett and Wendy Garland, our gymnastics facility was built on a lifelong passion for the sport. Brett began coaching in high school under Washington State Gymnastics Association Hall of Fame recipient Rod Ostboe, while Wendy excelled as a Big 10 Top All-Around Gymnast on scholarship at the University of Iowa. After teaching gymnastics across multiple gyms in Australia and Chicago, we returned to the Tri-Cities to realize our dream of owning a dedicated facility. Since opening our 10,000-square-foot gym in 2013, we've provided a positive environment where children develop physical skills and essential life values. Our team of experienced coaches creates programs that balance technical excellence with emotional growth, evidenced by our competitive teams consistently ranking highest in Tri-Cities competitions.Designed with multiple runways, apparatuses, and safety-focused equipment like in-ground trampolines and foam pits, our facility supports skill development for all ages. We maintain rigorous cleanliness standards while offering diverse programs including recreational classes, competitive teams, open gym sessions, and unique birthday party packages. Recreational Classes
Structured programs for children aged 2-12 with progressive skill development. Certified coaches use specialized equipment including rope swings, trampolines, and foam pits. Classes emphasize proper technique while building confidence and social skills in a supportive environment.
Competitive Gymnastics
By-invite programs for serious athletes with regular competitions. Features expert coaching for levels 2-10 and Xcel divisions. Includes access to specialized training equipment and preparation for events like the Wine Country Classic meet.
Open Gym Sessions
Supervised recreational access to full facility equipment. Available Saturday evenings and Monday mornings for ages 6 and under. Provides safe environment for children to practice skills and expend energy under staff supervision.
Birthday Parties
Private celebrations with 1 hour of gym activities and 45 minutes in party room. Includes access to trampolines, foam pits, and climbing equipment. Packages accommodate up to 20 children with optional add-ons for additional guests.
Hosted Meets
Annual gymnastics competitions open to the public at Three Rivers Convention Center. Features multiple skill level divisions with professional judging. Includes spectator amenities and honors the legacy of local gymnastics pioneer Rod Ostboe.

Co-founder with 30+ years coaching experience. Started teaching gymnastics in ninth grade under Hall of Fame coach Rod Ostboe. University of Iowa scholarship athlete who has owned the facility since 2006.
Wendy Garland
Co-Founder
Former University of Iowa gymnast on scholarship. Big 10 Top All-Around Gymnast recipient. Coached with Brett across multiple gyms before establishing Garlands Gymnastics in 2006.
