My passion for weight-training began the first time I stepped into a gym, as a 10-year-old girl. I knew right away that this was an environment in which I could thrive and reach my full potential, both physically and mentally. Later, as a police officer for the city of Tulare, I began to pursue my other passion, serving the people of my community.
Unfortunately, in 2009, my career as a police officer was cut short when I was injured protecting a group of citizens from a violent assault. After two years of attempted rehabilitation, it became clear that I would have to accept a medical retirement from the police department. While difficult to accept at first, I soon realized that the closing of one door could lead to the opening of another.
I had long known that there was a need in Tulare for a gym that catered more to those who worked non-traditional jobs, who needed access other than "normal" business hours, and who took weight-training as seriously as I do. And so, I combined my two passions, fitness and service to my community, and Grizz's Powerhouse Gym was born.

You do not have to resign-up, the contract is active for one year, and after one year it does not stop.
